HP announced the addition of several new LaserJet models to its business lineup including the HP TopShot LaserJet Pro M275 featuring 3D scanning and two new LaserJet Enterprise series.

The TopShot LaserJet Pro M275 is the latest technology from HP using a camera embedded into a hinged arm that is placed above the flatbed on the device. Combined with a high quality optical lens and high resolution sensor, the embedded camera will take six images per scan – three with flashes from various angles and three in ambient light conditions at different exposure levels – that are then combined into one image.

Of course, the TopShot LaserJet Pro M275 is more than just a scanner offering print and copy capabilities as well. Other features include print speeds up to 17 ppm in black and 4 ppm in color, 150-sheet paper tray, built-in networking with wireless connectivity, monthly duty cycle up to 20,000 pages, a 3.5-inch color touchscreen and HP’s ePrint technology.

While the buzz certainly hinged on the excitement of the new 3D TopShot scanning and the TopShot LaserJet Pro M275, HP also introduced the HP LaserJet Enterprise 600 M600 series and the HP LaserJet Enterprise 500 Color M551 series.

The single function monochrome LaserJet Enterprise 600 M600 series is targeted at medium to large workgroups with a high print volume. The series consists of eight models: the M601n, M601dn, M602n, M602dn, M602x, M603n, M603dn and the M603xh.

The LaserJet Enterprise 600 M601 configurations offer print speeds up to 45 ppm, four-line display, 500-sheet paper tray with 100-sheet multipurpose tray, 800 MHz processor with 512 MB of memory standard, front side USB port and built-in networking for $699.

The M601dn also includes automatic duplexing for $200 more.

The LaserJet Enterprise 600 M602n is the base model for this set of configurations and features print speeds up to 52 ppm, four-line display with 10-number keypad, hardware integration pocket, 500-sheet paper tray with 100-sheet multipurpose tray, 800 MHz processor with 512 MB of memory standard, front side USB port and built-in networking for $899.

The M602dn adds automatic duplexing for $1099 while the M602x offers automatic duplexing and a 1500-sheet paper tray for $1349.

The LaserJet Enterprise 600 M603 configurations start with the M603n base model. Features include: print speeds up to 62 ppm, four line display with 10-number keypad, hardware integration pocket, 500-sheet paper tray with 100-sheet multipurpose tray, 800 MHz processor with 512 MB of memory standard, front side USB port and built-in networking for $1399.

Step up to the M603dn with automatic duplexing for $1649 or the M603xh with all of the features mentioned plus a 1500-sheet paper tray and encrypted hard drive for $2299.

The HP LaserJet Enterprise 600 M600 printer series will be available for purchase in November.

The base model M551n features print speeds up to 33 ppm in both black and color, print resolution up to 1200 x 1200 dpi, 800 MHz processor with 1 GB of memory, four line LCD, a monthly duty cycle up to 75,000 pages, 500-sheet paper tray with 100-sheet multipurpose tray and built-in networking.
