HP Releases New Compaq nx9500 Series Notebook

HP has released the new Compaq Business Notebook nx9500.  The Compaq nx9500 packs desktop performance into a mobile package. With a large 17-inch wide screen display and Pentium 4 processor this is a pure desktop replacement style notebook, especially considering the fact that it weighs almost 9.5 pounds!

The base configuration of the nx9500 costs $1,799 and comes with a 3GHz Pentium 4 processor, a 60GB hard drive, 512MB of memory, a DVD-ROM/CD-RW drive, and an integrated 802.11g wireless chip. It’s available now at HPs site and other retailers, both online and offline, across the country
