HP Refreshes Almost Entire Desktop Lineup
Every so often manufacturers update their offerings without making a big buzz about it. Often it’s because the updates are simple spec bumps, keeping the lineup competitive both with offerings from other manufacturers and other products within a brand. Some of these updates are brand new, some are recent, but all are pretty great from an end-user standpoint.

Core i5, Core i7 and Phenom II chips are available, in both four- and six-core varieties. Up at the highest end, consumers can expect to receive a Core i7-980X CPU, but the company still doesn’t offer any discrete graphics options above an ATI Radeon 5770.
