HP Radiance Display Now Available on Envy 14

HP has brought back the high-resolution “Radiance” display to its 14.5-inch ENVY 14 notebook. The company removed the display option in Fall 2010 due to supply problems.

The Radiance display has a 1600 x 900 pixels resolution and increased brightness and contrast, making for a better viewing experience; it is a $200 upgrade over the base 1366 x 768 pixels display.

ENVY is HP’s premium line of consumer notebooks. The ENVY 14 notebook is 1.1 inches thin, weighs 5.25 lbs, and is made of aluminum. Specifications include up to Intel Core i7 quad-core processors, ATI Radeon HD 5650 graphics, a backlit keyboard, and nearly six hours of battery life. It starts at $999.99.
