HP launches series of Photosmart printers

HP announced today the addition of several new printers to its popular Photosmart line including the Photosmart A646 dedicated photo printer and the Photosmart Premium all-in one.

They are also officially releasing the previously announced Photosmart Plus All-in-One, the Photosmart C4700 series and the Photosmart Premium with TouchSmart Web.

The Photosmart A646 Compact Printer series is a portable dedicated inkjet photo printer featuring a TouchSmart control panel with a large 3.45 inch touchscreen. 


It also offers Bluetooth connectivity, 300 creative elements, 30 editing options and can print on various sized media up to 5×7 prints.

The Photosmart Premium All-in-One is the most budget friendly printer in the Photosmart Premium series.  It includes print, scan and copy functionality along with 3.45 inch TouchSmart control panel. 

Like the other printers in its family, the Photosmart Premium AIO can print photos from user’s Snapfish photo accounts with out the aid of a PC.  Ofther features include: print speeds up to 33 ppm in black, photo prints in 18 seconds, a 48-bit color scanner, and Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Ethernet, USB 2.0 connectivity.

HP announced the additions of the Photosmart Plus AIO, Photosmart C4700 AIO and the Photosmart Premium with TouchSmart Web in June of this summer.  They are all now officially available for purchase; check out our first look of the C4780 AIO for more information.

All of the released Photosmart printers feature recycled materials and will be shipped in HP’s new recyclable tote.

The Photosmart A646 Compact Printer series will start at $149 while the Photosmart Premium All-in-One Printer will be available for $199.
