HP announced the addition of two new all-in-one inkjet printers, the HP Photosmart eStation All-in-One and the HP ENVY 100 e-All-in-One, this morning at their Innovation Summit held in New York City.
Both new all-in-ones will feature HP’s ePrint technology allowing consumers to print from anywhere from any device with e-mail access by providing all new models with a unique e-mail address.
The HP Photosmart eStation All-in-One will feature a detachable 7-inch full color touchscreen for access to the eStation’s web browsing capabilities and the ePrintCenter with customized print applications anywhere in the home.
The Photosmart eStation All-in-One is a 4-in-1 device with print, scan, copy and fax capabilities as well as draft print speeds up to 33 ppm in black, a print resolution up to 9600 x 2400 optimized dpi, built-in wireless connectivity, a dedicated 50-sheet photo tray and a 125-sheet paper cassette and it is Energy Star qualified.
The HP ENVY 100 e-All-in-One looks more like a cable box or DVD player than a printer with the approximate product dimensions of 17 x 13 x 4 inches. Like the Photosmart eStation AIO, the ENVY 100 will also offer a TouchSmart control panel with web connectivity, although considerably smaller measuring in at 3.45-inches.
The ENVY 100 e-All-in-One will also feature draft print speeds up to 27 ppm in black, a print resolution up to 4800 x 1200 optimized dpi, an 80-sheet input tray, automatic duplexing, a monthly duty cycle up to 1,000 pages and built-in wireless connectivity. The ENVY is the world’s first PVC-free printer and is also Energy Star qualified.
The Photosmart eStation All-in-One is currently available in select countries for the suggested retail value of $399 while the ENVY 100 e-All-in-One is expected to be available worldwide next month for the estimated retail value of $249.99.
