HP introduces four Photosmart web connected AIOs

HP introduced four new Photosmart printers featuring the HP ePrint printing solution at the kick off press event at Internet Week New York this morning.

The four web connected all-in-one inkjet printers, the HP Photosmart e-All-in-One, HP Photosmart Plus e-All-in-One, HP Photosmart Premium e-All-in-One and HP Photosmart Premium Fax e-All-in-One, will be shipped with unique e-mail addresses allowing customers to use the ePrint solution to print from any device, anywhere, anytime.

The entry level Photosmart e-All-in-One will feature 2.4-inch TouchSmart screen, auto-engaging photo tray, direct access to HP printing applications, built-in wireless connectivity, print speeds up to 29 ppm, and a print resolution up to 4800 x 1200 dpi.  The Photosmart e-All-in-One will be the first available printer in the new lineup with an expected shipping date set for later this month.  The Photosmart e-All-in-One has a suggested retail price of $99.

The Photosmart Plus e-All-in-One will offer a 3.5-inch TouchSmart screen and Energy Star certification and is expected to be available worldwide in August for the suggested retail price of $149.99.

The HP Photosmart Premium e-All-in-One will allow customers to browse applications with a 4.3-inch TouchSmart screen and print double sided documents automatically.  The Photosmart Premium e-All-in-One is expected to be available in September for $199.

The flagship Photosmart Premium Fax e-All-in-One is a 4-in-one device with a 4.3-inch HP TouchSmart screen, automatic duplexing, built-in wireless networking, 50-page ADF, print speeds up to 34 ppm, print resolution up to 9600 x 2400 dpi, memory card reader and Energy Star qualified.   The Photosmart Premium Fax e-All-in-One also has projected availability set for September at the retail price of $299.
