HP Compaq 8200 Elite AIO Brings New Intel Core CPUs to HP’s All-in-one Lineup

HP has been rolling out all-in-ones left and right, recently; it wasn’t so long ago that we took a look at the HP 100B all-in-one, which put AMD’s Fusion APUs into a slim and affordable all-in-one frame. It was a nice enough PC, though a tad slow for more than basic usage – HP has rectified that with the release of the new HP Compaq 8200 Elite All-in-one, which takes advantage of the newer Intel Core CPUs.

In addition to speedier CPUs, HP has engineered the 8200 Elite to offer 15% faster hard drive access than its predecessors as well as new IT administration tools that allow overworked sysadmins to diagnose and manage computers from afar. System administrators can modify security and management profiles without getting out of their chair.

The new model is an all-in-one variant of the rest of the HP Compaq 8200 lineup; we recently reviewed the ultra-slim desktop version, and found it was a solid performer despite it’s diminutive size. You’ll be able to pick up the new HP Compaq 8200 Elite All-in-One today in the states, for a buck under $1000 at just $999. That comes with HP’s standard multiyear business warranty.
