Has Microsoft Already Developed Kinect for PCs?

by Reads (2,908)

Microsoft KinectThe Kinect rumors are shooting all over this week, as a game developer from South Korea is coming out and blabbing on new developments. GamePrix’s Jason Lim has said that Kinect will soon be available as a new controller, and that one of its new titles, Divine Soul, might be scheduled to support Kinect.

Microsoft is undoubtedly working to bring Kinect support to its Windows operating system and probably has, hidden in the halls of Redmond, more than one working version. To bring it to games so soon would be something of a surprise, however, and to hear the news from an unknown Korean developer would be more surprising still.

Whether this is more wishful thinking than truth is something we won’t know for months, as any of the major gaming conferences are still some time away – CES is likely going to be filled with other big announcements.
