Google Releases Beta Version 25 of its Chrome Browser

Chrome Web BrowserToday, Google has released a new beta version (version 25) for its Chrome web browser.

The new update introduces a slew of new tools to the web browser, the most important of which is the inclusion of Web Speech API.  Google has announced that this new addition will allow developers to integrate speech recognition directly into their web applications. Google released a demo that allows users to dictate an email directly from Chrome.

The new version also offers many security and developer-focused features including, protection from cross-site scripting and other content injection attacks and the inclusion of Web Components Shadow DOM. There are also new developer tools including new timeline settings for showing CPU activity and an updated version of CodeMirror editor.
