Getac Updates B300 Rugged Notebook

Getac has announced a refresh of its B300 rugged notebook with Core i7 processors. The B300 now features an Intel Core i7-620LM dual-core processor (2.0GHz, 2.8GHz Turbo Boost mode), which the company says is up to 67% faster than the previous generation.

The B300 is offered with two display options: a 700NIT and a 1400NIT, the latter of which features Getac’s QuadraClear technology, allowing the display to be viewed in direct sunlight. Other features of the B300 include a -20 degree low-temperature option, a dual battery option for up to 22 hours of life, Gobi 2000 mobile broadband, HDMI, backlit keyboard, and five-year bumper-to-bumper warranty.

The B300 is MIL-STD-810G certified for ruggedness and shock protection and is certified to IP65 rating for protection from water and dust. The Getac B300 is available now starting at $3,799.
