On Wednesday Eurocom announced the availability of its newest addition to the Eurocom line of lightweight notebooks, the Shark 2.0. Despite its 6 lbs. frame the Shark 2.0 offers the same strong level of performance that Eurocom is known for with a 4th generation Intel Core i7 processor and NVidia GeForce GTX 765 M on-board graphics.
The Eurocom Shark 2.0 offers a 15.6″ or optional 17.3″ full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution display, and customers can choose between Glossy or Matte displays. The Eurocom Shark is also equipped with an Intel HM 87 chipset, which offers full integration with Intel’s 4th generation Intel Core i7 processors; including the i7-4930MX, i7-4900MQ, i7-4800MQ, and i7-4700MQ. The 4th generation Intel Core i7 Processors and HM 87 chipset support up to three external monitors, and up to 24GB of DDR3-1600 SODIMM memory.
The Shark 2.0 also offers impressive graphical performance via its NVidia GTX 765M GPUs featuring 768 CUDA cores and 2GB of DDR5. Additionally, with Optimus support the Eurocom Shark 2.0 is able to lower power consumption allowing the device to run for 400 minutes on a single charge. The device also provides ample amounts of storage with up to 3.5TB of internal memory. All of this is delivered in a relatively manageable form factor with the device measuring at 14.96″ x 10″ x 1.61″ and weighing in at around 6 lbs.
