Eurocom today announced that a number of the company’s notebook models now support 3D NVIDIA graphics cards. NVIDIA Quadro Quad GPUs are high-end 3D-enabled GPUs that offer a quad buffered experience with stereoscopic glasses.
The stereo experience is all about the frame rendering capabilities in 3D graphics. Normally, each human eye must process each 3D image separately, but quad buffering graphics cards enables double buffering using a front buffer and a back buffer for each eye. The experience ends up including four buffers in total for a better 3D user experience than GPUs without quad support.
Eurocom notebooks with NVIDIA quad buffering support include notebook models Panther 2.0, Panther 3.0, Neptune and Racer. Users can build the notebooks with NVIDIA Quadro 5010M, 4000M, 3000M, 3800M, or 2800M mobile GPUs. The Eurocom Neptune has a built-in emitter reaching 120Hz while connected to an external screen with a DVI-DL port.
Each 3D notebook with NVIDIA Quadro quad GPUs comes with 3D glasses and a 3D display. Eurocom’s custom notebooks are fully user-upgradable once built (see the company’s website for more information).
