Eurocom Adds AMD Radeon HD 8970M Option to its Scorpius Upgradable Laptop

Eurocom ScorpiusOn Tuesday, Eurocom announced that the AMD Radeon HD 8970M in CrossFireX would now be an available option for the company’s Scorpius fully upgradable laptop.

The Scorpius also offers a number of different configuration levels suitable for both enthusiasts and professionals with options ranging from Intel Core i7 processors up to Extreme Edition, and dual graphics cards support with NVidia GeForce, AMD Radeon and NVidia Quadro options. The Eurocom Scorpius also comes equipped with two MXM 3.0B slots rated for 100W GPUs allowing for both SLI and CrossFireX support. The upgradable notebook boasts impressive storage capacity with the ability to store upwards of four drives, with one of the drives offering mSATA with RAID 0/1/5/10 capability; and four memory slots allowing for a total of 32GB of DDR3.
