Epson has announced that its iPrint mobile printing application will now be compatible with Android smartphones along with the host of Apple devices that already support it.
Epson introduced the second generation of its iPrint mobile app earlier this summer. Epson iPrint app allows customers to print files from Microsoft Office programs, PDF documents, email attachments as well as access and print from online cloud services including Box.net, Dropbox, Evernote and Google Docs.
The iPrint app also features a built-in web browser so users can find and print web pages or scan documents and images from any Epson AIO for sharing. Users will be able to change print options such as paper size/type, number of copies and page range for each individual job.
Epson iPrint is now compatible with Android OS 2.2 and is available for free on the Android Market as well as a variety of Apple products including the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch.
