Epson introduced the WorkForce 840 and the WorkForce 60, the “world’s fastest automatic double-sided printing solutions,” today in Vegas, one day before CES 2011 kicks off.
The new printers are targeted at the high print volume SMB market with print speeds up to 15 ppm in black single-sided and 7.4 ppm in black double-sided. And both new WorkForce printers are Energy Star qualified, RoHS compliant and designed to be recycled at the end of their life cycles.
The Epson WorkForce 840 All-in-One is a 4-in-1 with print, scan, copy and fax capabilities as well as a 7.8-inch touch control panel with a 3.5-inch high resolution LCD, a two-sided 30-page ADF, built-in memory card reader with front side USB port and a 500-sheet paper capacity.
An extra bonus? The WorkForce 840 ships with extra-high capacity ink cartridges for printing at a high volume.
The Epson WorkForce 840 will be available through Epson directly and authorized vendors in January 2011 for the estimated retail price of $299.99.
The Epson WorkForce 60 is a single-function inkjet printer with built-in WI-FI, a 250-sheet paper capacity, wireless printing from mobile devices, and individual DURABrite Ultra inks.
The Epson WorkForce 60 will be available through Epson directly in January 2011 for the estimated retail price of $129.99.
