On Monday, Epson released the new WorkForce line of inkjet printers and all-in-ones. The four opening acts offer in-demand features such as Wi-Fi, fast print speeds, great print resolution and networking.
The “flagship model” of the WorkForce line is the all-in-one 600. It features built-in Wi-Fi, print speeds up to 27 pages per minute, wired networking, a 2.5” tilt LCD and a 30-page automatic document feeder.
The WorkForce 500 all-in-one has many of the same features as the 600 but focuses on photo printing as well as other normal options. The 500 offers print speeds up to 33 pages per minute, a built-in 30 page automatic document feeder, a 2.5” LCD, built-in memory card slot and PictBridge support.
The WorkForce 40 and WorkForce 30 single function printers offer print speeds up to 27 pages per minute. The 40 also features built-in Wi-Fi and wired networking.
All four ENERGYSTAR compliant WorkForce printers include built-in double-sided printing, four-color DURABrite Ultra individual ink tanks and DX3 MicroPiezo print head technology.
The WorkForce 600, WorkForce 500 and WorkForce 30 will all be available in August 2008. The WorkForce 40 will be available in September 2008. The WorkForce line is estimated to start at $69.99 (for the 30). The 40 and 500 are estimated at $129.99 and the line tops out at $199.99 for the “flagship” 600.
