EFI Delivers Advanced Color Management for Ricoh

EFI, a provider of digital printing solutions, announced the availability of the Fiery E-41A server for Ricoh’s recently released Pro C651EX and Pro C751EX color production printers.

The Fiery E-41A server delivers advanced color management technology for consistent and accurate color, software enhancements to improve usability, and full support of finishing devices to automate the production of complex documents, according to EFI.

The new Fiery server providers users tools to control and manage color throughout the workflow offering Ricoh print customers improved color quality and ease of use while saving time and producing manuals, brochures, folded newsletters, finished booklets, personalized postcards and direct mail.

Available in the latest version of Command Workstation user interface, for both Windows and Mac environments, is the new Fiery Image Enhance Visual Editor (IEVE). The Fiery E-41A server also includes Adobe PDF Print Engine support so users can choose a native PDF end-to-end workflow, in conjunction with the conventional PostScript interpreter to ensure accuracy and consistency of output from design to print.

The Ricoh Pro C751EX offers print speeds of 75 pages per minute (ppm) in Color/BW, and the Ricoh Pro C651EX offers print speed of 65 ppm in Color/BW, and 4,800 dpi printing. The copy/scan function is a standard feature in both devices.
