Dell Intros New AMD-based Inspiron Notebooks

Dell has introduced two more AMD-based Inspiron notebooks to its lineup, the M501R and the M5030. Both feature 15.6″ screens (720p).

The M5030 is the entry-level notebook sporting an AMD Athlon II P340 dual-core processor, ATI Radeon HD 4250 graphics, and up to 6GB RAM/500GB 7200RPM hard drive. It is 1.48~1.58″ thick and weighs six pounds. The M5030 is available now starting at $529.99 with 4GB of RAM and a 320GB hard drive.

The M501R is the higher-end AMD offering; it comes with a Phenom II N930 quad-core processor, ATI Radeon HD550 graphics card, 4GB of RAM, and a 320GB 5400RPM hard drive for $749.99.
