Dell announced this morning the immediate availability of two new monochrome laser multifunction printers, the B1165nfw and the B1265dfw, as they continue to grow their imaging portfolio.

The new devices will be targeted at the small office, home office (SOHO) market as both models are priced under $300 and offer a range of easy to use features including the Dell Printer Easy WiFi Installer (a four-click wireless setup), a one piece toner cartridge with a lifetime fuser guarantee and a full version of Nuance PaperPort 14.

The B1165nfw joins the lineup as a new configuration targeted at a market share lost when Dell phased out the 1135n monochrome multifunction printer shares a print engine with the single function B1160w we reviewed last year.

The B1165nfw offers print, scan, copy and fax functionality in a black compact box with an adjustable control panel on the front. Key features include: print speeds up to 21 ppm, 40-sheet automatic document feeder, a maximum monthly duty cycle up to 20,000 pages, 433 MHz processor with 128 MB of memory, 150-sheet paper tray and mobile printing with Google Cloud Print, Apple AirPrint and Dell Mobile Print App.

The B1265dfw builds off the success of the previously released B1265dnf by adding wireless connectivity to the mix for an additional $30. Key features on this model include: print speeds up to 29 ppm, 40-sheet automatic document feeder, a maximum duty cycle up to 20,000 pages, automatic duplexing, 533 MHz processor with 128 MB of memory standard, 250-sheet paper tray and mobile printing with Google Cloud Print, Apple AirPrint and Dell Mobile Print App.

Both the B1165nfw and the B1265dfw are available today on Dell.com for the suggested retail price of $199 and $279, respectively.
