Dell Inspiron e1705 Revealed (pics, specs)

The Dell Inspiron e1705 Intel Core Duo notebook is now available via and on display at the CES 2006 show.

The Dell Inspiron e1705 is the same as the Dell Inspiron 9400 being offered in Europe and also on the Dell Business site in the USA.  The e1705 comes with an nVidia Go 7800 256MB graphics card.  It is the same design and build as the currently available Dell Inspiron 9300 but will come with the new Intel Core Duo processor option and Windows Media Center 2005 for the ability to watch and record live TV if you have an external USB TV tuner (which is an option during configuration).  Pricing for the Dell Inspiron e1705 starts at $1,999 before coupons are applied.  The e1705 is currently available at the site.

  • 60GB – 100GB HardDrive with up to 7200RPM speed
  • Intel Pro/Wireless 3945 802.11a/b/g
  • nVidia GeForce Go 7800 256MB graphics card
  • External TV Tuner option
  • Same build and ports as the Dell Inspiron 9300, and equivalent to the Dell Inspiron 9400
