Dell Inspiron 11z and Mini 10 Get Sprint 3G/4G

Sprint today announced it will be offering the Dell Inspiron Mini 10 netbook and 11z notebook with dual-mode embedded 3G/4G mobile broadband.

The Inspiron Mini 10 (1012) netbook features Windows 7 starter, an Intel Atom N450 processor, a 10.1″ (1024×600) display, and weighs 3 lbs. It has a claimed battery life up to nine hours on its six-cell battery.

The Inspiron 11z notebook is more powerful and features a dual-core Intel Core i3-330UM processor, 2GB of RAM, Windows 7 Home Premium, an 11.6″ screen (1366×768), a 3.44-lb weight, and a claimed battery life up to 6.5 hours.

Both computers will be available starting Nov. 14; the Dell Inspiron Mini 10 (1012) is free after a $100 mail-in rebate; the Inspiron 11z will be $149.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate; prices assume a new two-year commitment. The 3G/4G plan is $59.99/month for unlimited 4G and 5GB of 3G; a basic 3G-only plan with 500MB of data is $39.99/month.
