Corsair Bumps up RAM to 2333MHz, $200 a Stick
We’re all tired of hearing how cheap RAM has gotten, lately. “I paid hundreds of dollars for just 4MB when I was your age!” Well, if you’re nostalgic for the days of yore, Corsair might be able to help you out.

Corsair’s new 2333MHz Dominator GTRX is, in the company’s own words, now “the fastest XMP-certified memory in the world.” Obviously, this isn’t memory you’ll buy to put into your parents’ office PC; the new RAM is geared toward computer enthusiasts and overclockers.
Intel awarded the Dominator GTX modules XMP certification running at 2333MHz with timings of 9-11-9-27 @ 1.65V. Going beyond that, Corsair guarantees the RAM up to 2400MHz at the same timings and voltage.
The new memory comes with Corsair’s DHX+ heatsinks and will be sold in single modules only, and only from Corsair’s online store for the time being. The price? $200 a stick. Pricey, but if you want it fast, you can get it.
