We’ve been following ASUS’ efforts to cram an entire PC into a form factor the size of a keyboard for a while. More recently, we got to see a working model at CES 2010 in Las Vegas – wireless HDMI streaming and all. One thing that’s a little concerning, though, is that ASUS keeps on talking about how they’ll be bringing the Eee Keybaord to market soon, and all of the spec sheets indicate that same old Atom N270 CPU. No dual-core and a terrible GPU.
China’s Great Wall has come out with a version of their own that does include the same 5-inch touchscreen but packs in NVIDIA’s Ion graphics. It even looks like it’ll come in around the same price as ASUS’ efforts. The downsides? No dual display, no wireless HDMI streaming, etc, etc. For almost $600, we’ll pass.
