Check Out Our New Monitors Section!

by Reads (2,000)

DesktopReview has been covering monitor and display news and reviews since we launched just a couple of years ago, and now they’ve finally got a place of their own on our network. Just click on the new Displays tab right up near the top of the page to check it out for yourself, or read on for more details.

Living at http://www.desktopreview.com/monitors, our new Displays section is part of our renewed focus on covering display technology, helping you find the monitor that’s right for you and keeping tabs on the best deals out there.  Similar to the way our Software section works, DTR’s Displays content works a little differently than our traditional front page news strategy.

In the middle of the page is our full column of news; this time around, it’s entirely display-centric. Unlike our regular home page, there’s no break between full-on reviews and major news and the smaller news items that are typically regulated to the ‘Quick News’ area on the right of the page. Speaking of Quick News, the news column has been replaced by a listing of the most recent display discussions from the monitor and displays section of our forums. If you’ve got a question to ask, it’ll probably pop up here.

The left-hand side of the page still has a popular column, but now it lists monitors and pricing information for those displays instead of traditional desktop units. As we get up to speed, the news column will be updated regularly with news and reviews for displays, so don’t worry that we’ve got some older content up there right now: we had to fill it with something for launch! Go on, check it out and let us know if you have any questions or comments about the way things will work.  Hopefully you’ll keep us in mind the next time you’re looking for help picking out the right monitor, or the difference between the latest technologies

Be sure to stop back soon and check out our upcoming reviews on some great new monitors from manufacturers like ASUS, Dell and HP.
