Announced at CES 2007 today, the Toshiba Portege R400 is a light-weight convertible notebook Tablet PC that offers two very innovative features. The R400 has a wireless docking solution and also includes the Windows Vista SideShow technology to give a heads up display of things like battery power, email inbox status and time and date. The R400 has a distinct white shiny finish as well, deviating from the usual black Toshiba uses. The R400 is powered by a low voltage Core Duo processor, runs Windows Vista and offers a case material made of magnesium and polycarbonate.
