Digital imaging vendor Canon U.S.A. is the recipient of three BERTL “Best” distinctions, for its imagePROGRAF iPF8300, iPF6350 and iPF6300 large format printers, as part of the industry analyst firm’s 15th Annual Awards.
The Canon imagePROGRAF printers won recognition for superior image quality, enhanced image processing capability and advanced printing technologies including the new LUCIA EX pigment ink set. This latest BERTL award follows on the recent BERTL Five-Star Exception rating also earned by these large format printers.

According to Canon, the 12-color LUCIA EX pigment ink set increases the achievable color gamut by approximately 20 percent from the previous imagePROGRAF iPFx100 series and enables over 90 percent coverage of Pantone colors.
The imagePROGRAF iPF833 is a 44” device that features an 80GB hard drive, sub-ink tank system, Gigabit Ethernet support and Accounting Manager feature that targets the fine art, photography and proofing markets.
Geared towards the graphic, fine art, photography and proofing markets, the iPF6300 and iPF6300 both 12-color 24-inch printers, feature the LUCIA EX Ink Set, print Plug-in for Adobe Photoshop and Canon’s Digital Photo Professional; media configuration tool, high-precision print modes; accounting manager, Print Plug-in for Microsoft Office, built in calibration; redesigned control panel, PosterArtist Lite and PosterArtist (Optional). The iPF6350 also comes with an 80GB hard drive.
The imagePROGRAF iPF6350 and iPF6300 are also U.S. Energy Star and RoHS compliant.
