BUILD AND DESIGN

The Canon PIXMA MP560 is a sleek, compact photo printer with scan and copy capabilities along with a host of features.  The casing is done in the black and gray typical of the Pixma line with the Canon logo on the front.

Starting from the top down, you’ll find the 48-bit flatbed scanner for scanning a variety of media up to 8.5 x 11.7 inches.

The control panel is hidden on the MP560; it flips up on the right side of the device.  It consists of a 2-inch LCD and Canon’s Easy Scroll Wheel surrounded by some quick keys.

The built-in memory card reader is located directly below the control panel.  The MP560 card reader is compatible with SD Memory Card, SDHC, MultiMediaCard (v4.1), MultiMediaCard Plus (v4.1), CompactFlash Card, Microdrive, Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO, Memory Stick Duo and Memory Stick PRO Duo.

Fold out the front panel to print or access the inside of the printer.  You’ll find the color coded ink carriage on the inside of the MP560 for loading the five individual ink cartridges.

A thin, 80-sheet paper tray can be found on the bottom of the MP560; it has adjustable paper clasps to fit a variety of media including 4×6 prints.

The MP560 has two way feeding so there is another paper tray located on the rear of the printer.  It also has an adjustable paper clasp for different media widths.

All the connections are located on the back of the Pixma MP560.
