Canon Introduces Four imagePROGRAF Printers

Canon U.S.A. introduced four new 36-inch imagePROGRAf large format printers targeted at design and engineering professionals working from home office or small workgroup spaces.

The four models – iPF765, iPF765 MFP, iPF760 and iPF760 MFP – feature new horizontal stacking baskets for 24 x 36-inch plots, a print resolution up to 2400 x 1200 dpi, easy ink replacement from front of machine with a sub-ink tank system and a new interface lock system for additional security; all are Energy Star certified.

The multifunction iPF765 and iPF760 models also include scan and copy functionality with a new integrated stand, a new swivel monitor mounting system and the latest SmartWorks MFP software. These models feature a Ci C40 color scanner with an optical resolution of 600 dpi and a 40-inch scan width for A0, D and architectural E-size scans.

The single function iPF765 and multifunction iPF765 also include a 250GB hard drive (32GB dedicated to file processing memory).

All four new models are expected to be available later this month through authorized Canon dealers and resellers. The lineup starts at $4495 for the iPF760, $4995 for the iPF765, $8495 for the iPF760 MFP and $8995 for the iPF765 MFP.
