Canon U.S.A. has expanded their laser printer lineup again with the announcement of two new imageRUNNER laser printers designed with small businesses, enterprise workgroups and Managed Document Services in mind.
The new single function imageRUNNER LBP5280 and imageRUNNER LBP3480 were created as standalone desktop printers, but can also be used in complement with higher end imageRUNNER ADVANCE MFPs through a common tool set including imageWARE Enterprise Management Console, uniFLOW and unified print drivers.
Both models feature a 5-line LCD with on-screen navigation through a scrolling display allowing users access to animated help guide operations and USB Direct Print. With the purchase of an optional SD card, customers can access Encrypted Secured Print, Mail Box storage and Email Printing.
The imageRUNNER LBP5280 is a new addition to the imageRUNNER LBP series and offers print speeds up to 21 ppm black or color, a print resolution up to 2400 x 600 dpi, duplex printing, a standard paper capacity of 550 sheets, 768MB of internal memory and Adobe PostScript 3, PCL5c/6 and Canon’s UFR II print solution.
Additional options include: a 250-sheet paper cassette, an 8GB SD card and a Barcode Print Kit.
The imageRUNNER LBP3480 will be replacing the imageRUNNER LBP3480 in the imageRUNNER LBP series. This single function monochrome laser printer offers print speeds up to 35 ppm with a print resolution up to 2400x 600 dpi, a standard paper capacity up to 800 sheets, 768MB of internal memory, duplex printing and Adobe PostScript 3, PCL5c/6 and Canon’s UFR II print solution.
Additional add-ons include: a 500-sheet paper cassette, an 8GB SD card and the Barcode Print Kit.
The imageRUNNER LBP3480 and imageRUNNER LBP5280 will be available through Canon Authorized Dealers and Canon Business Solutions for the suggested retail price of $599 and $899, respectively.
