Canon U.S.A. Inc. announced that two Pixma wireless all-in-one (AIO) inkjet printers are now Google Cloud Print Ready for easy on the go printing.

The Pixma MG8220 and Pixma MG6220 AIOs can now use Google Cloud Print to connect to the web and print from Gmail and Google Docs on a mobile device and from the Google Chrome browser for Mac, Windows, Linux, and Chrome devices.

Expect to see similar support for the Pixma MX892 AIO inkjet printer in May.

The new capability allows users to print from anywhere from commonly used applications and also allows users to share their home and work printers with others using a Google account.

The Pixma MG8220 and MG6220 offer print, copy and scan functions. Both print borderless photos up to 8.5” x 11” size and offer a maximum print color resolution of 9600 x 2400 dpi and 600 x 600 dpi for black and white printing. Suggested retail pricing for the MG8220 and MG6220 is $299.99 and $199.99, respectively.

The Canon PIXMA MX892 offers print, copy, scan and fax functions. The device print resolution is up to 9600 x 2400 dpi for color and up to 600 x 600 dpi for black and white printing. Suggested retail pricing for the Pixma MX892 is $199.99
