Following the recent launch of three new Professional Series inkjet printers, Brother introduced a new monochrome laser all-in-one series, the MFC-7000 series, “first in the category” to include both duplex printing and wireless connectivity at a price point under $300.
The MFC-7000 series – consisting of the MFC-7360n, the MFC-7460dn and the MFC-7860dw – will be targeted at small businesses, small offices and home offices. The new series will offer networking capabilities, quick print speeds and high capacity replacement toner cartridges in a compact new design.
The entry level MFC-7360n will feature print speeds up to 24 ppm, 32MB of memory, Scan-to functionality and 1-year limited warranty for the estimated street price of $199.
The MFC-7460dn will include the basic features found on the MFC-7360n as well as print speeds up to 27 ppm and automatic duplexing for the estimated street price of $249.
The flagship MFC-7860dw has all the features of the MFC-7460dn, but adds wireless connectivity and the Brother iPrint&Scan wireless print-to and scan-from app available for free download on both Apple mobile devices and Android Smartphones for the estimated street price of $299.
The entire series is set to be available in March 2011 through Brother and authorized vendors.
