Brother introduces three Pro Series AIOs

Brother announced the addition of three new all-in-one inkjets to its Professional Series that allow customers to print, copy, scan and fax on media up to 11 x 17 inches, the first all-in-one inkjets in their respective classes to offer four devices in wide format.

The second generation of the Professional series – the MFC-J6510dw, the MFC-J6710dw and the MFC-J6910dw all-in-ones – offer print speeds up to 35 ppm in black and 27 ppm in color, automatic duplexing, 35-sheet automatic document feeder, built-in card reader and three connectivity options including Wi-Fi.

The MFC-J6510 is the entry level model at $249 and includes a 250-sheet paper tray, a 3.3-inch widescreen LCD and Brother’s XXL series of replacement ink cartridges that yield up to 2,400 pages in black and 1,200 pages in color.
Step up to the MFC-J6710dw for all of the above mentioned features plus dual paper trays for a paper capacity of 500 sheets and an extended 3-year limited warranty for $299.

The flagship MFC-J6910dw offers all of the same features as the first two models as well as a 3.3-inch touch screen LCD and automatic duplex scanning, copying and faxing for $349.

Brother also announced that all three models will be compatible with the new Brother iPrint&Scan app available in April 2011. Users can print from or scan to an Apple mobile device or Android Smartphone wirelessly by downloading the free application.

The Brother MFC-J6510dw and the MFC-J6710dw will be available through authorized vendors in January 2011 while the MFC-J6910dw will be available in March 2011.
