The Canon imageRunner Advance 8000 Series was recognized by Better Buys for Business as the 2010 Innovative Product of the Year High-Volume Copier Category.

The imageRunner Advance 8000 Series consists of three monochrome multi-function products (MFPs), the imageRunner Advance 8085, 8095 and 8105 models. The award acknowledged the MFP series for its advances in usability, manageability and productivity.

The imageRunner Advance 8095, 8085 and 8105 deliver output speeds in black and white of up to 85 pages per minute (ppm), 95 ppm and 105 ppm, respectively, and are designed to meet the needs of high volume offices and light production environments.

The Canon imageRunner Advance C9075 PRO, C9065 PRO, C7065, C7055, C5051, C5045, C2030, and C2020 models received Editor’s Choice awards in the analyst firm’s 2011 Color Copier Guide based on their extraordinary performance under Better Buys’ testing format. The Editor’s Choice award represents “best-in-class” systems.

Both the imageRunner Advance C9075 PRO and C9065 PRO target the needs of corporate in-house print facilities, commercial on-demand print centers and design agencies. The C7065 and C7055 models are designed to meet the needs of large workgroups that demand robust performance. The C5051 and C5045 models target small departments and workgroups and the C2030 and C2020 models serve small and remote offices.

Canon’s imageRunner Advance Series uses the vendor’s imageChip architecture that has two central control systems that work together to enable multiple tasks simultaneously. In addition to advanced design, the Advance Series also offers advanced workflow, advanced control, advanced performance and numerous features that target concern about environmental impact, according to the company.
