Recently announced “Little Printer” and “Berg Cloud” from Berg Ltd., a London-based sign studio, is a web-connected printer and technology for connecting and controlling wireless products in the home, respectively.

Little Printer connects wirelessly to the web via an included Berg Cloud Bridge unit that is placed by the broadband router and also requires a power outlet.

The unit is constructed in high-gloss injected molded plastic and contains a compact, inkless, thermal printer. A brushed steel faceplate holds the paper, framing each delivery as it prints, according to the company.

Users configure Little Printer from an iPhone or Android smartphone, to manage and set up subscriptions and Little Printer gathers them and delivers the content in a black and white mini-newspaper at the press of a button.

Launch partners include Arup, foursquare, Google, the Guardian, and Nike. Berg Cloud Bridge is the first of many planned products in the Berg Cloud family.

Little Printer is scheduled for availability in 2012.
