The Office and Consumer Products Group of Avery Dennison, a worldwide office products company, introduced the Avery Templates Everywhere app for the Apple iPhone.

The new app allows consumers to easily import contacts from an iPhone to place on Avery mailing, shipping and return address labels, according to the company.

Users choose which Avery label to use and select the desired contacts from their iPhone contact list. The address labels or shipping labels are automatically formatted into the correct layout for their Avery product.

Users can print labels straight from an iPhone with a compatible printer, or email the project to a friend or coworker to print.
The Avery Templates Everywhere app also makes it easy to add new contacts by scanning addresses from envelopes and business cards to quickly update their address book.

Users can also add a return address to a shipping label by adding their address in Settings and it is automatically applied to the shipping and return address labels.

To access previously saved projects, users go to a MyAvery account from their device to email or print it.

The Avery Templates Everywhere app is compatible with the Apple iPhone 3GS, 4 and 4S running iOS 5 and also works with a 4th or 5th generation iPod touch.

Expect to see an Avery Templates Everywhere for the iPad in the near future, according to the company.
The Avery Templates Everywhere app is free and available in the Apple App Store.
