ASUS Intros G73JW and G53 with Wireless Display Technology

Computex Taipei 2010 – ASUS has introduced a notebook computer with SiBEAM WirelessHD wireless display technology.

The wireless display technology will be offered in ASUS’ new G73JW and G53 notebook PCs. The SiBEAM WirelessHD technology can stream uncompressed 1080p/60 video to an HDTV. The wireless display technology operates in the 60GHz frequency band and will not interfere with WiFi or other wireless technologies.

The SiBEAM WirelessHD technology is integrated into the notebooks using “advanced wireless video network chips on display mini-card (DMC)” modules.

The ASUS G73JW and G53 notebook computers will be available in Fall 2010. Pricing has not been announced.
