Oki Data America, which markets its products under the Oki Printing Solutions Brand, has bundled the Anoto penDocuments Pro digital pen product with its C610 and CX2033 MFP Plus products. The Digital Pen Printing Solution, which also captures signatures, offers businesses a cost-effective way to improve workflow and data capture.

According to Oki Data America, the Digital Pen Printing Solution is designed for anyone who does a lot of writing, needs to save the document and requires the portability of using an ordinary ballpoint pen. Target users for the product are field service employees such as drivers, delivery people and inspectors, in addition to healthcare professionals, insurance agents and lawyers.

“Combining the Anoto penDocuments Pro digital pen product with our C610 and CX2033 MFP Plus products, the Oki Digital Pen Printing Solution increases office efficiency, delivers a cost-effective way for business to improve workflow and capture data and reduces storage needs,” said Doug August, senior product manager, Software Solutions at Oki Data Americas. “The Oki Digital Pen is versatile and an ideal solution to meet everyday office needs by reducing the amount of writing required on documents,” he added.

Oki selected the C610 because it’s a brand new model that combines excellent print quality and speed with an economical price and is suitable for any office environment to print documents with dot pattern and all other office output. The CX2033 FP adds scanning, faxing and copying in an all-in-one product.

“Our LED print head technology, as opposed to laser technology, prints the Anoto dot pattern with extreme accuracy ensuring that the pen always records exactly what is written,” said August, a capability that’s critical in applications like healthcare and legal, he added.

Anoto and Oki Data Americas have worked together for several years to provide Anoto partners and end users with on-demand printing solutions.
