Acer 3D Notebook Coming in October
Acer is planning to launch a notebook with a 3D screen in October of this year according to a DigiTimes report. The notebook will feature a 15.6-inch screen and software that supports 3D movies, and in addition can convert standard 2D movies into 3D. Users will need to wear stereoscopic glasses to see the 3D effects; a technology that does 3D without the glasses is in the works however.
The 3D notebook will come with Windows 7; Acer will not officially announce the notebook until the new operating system is announced.
