HP Recalls 54,000 More Laptop Batteries as Fire Hazards

In the latest in a long string of industry recalls of lithium ion batteries, HP has recalled at least 54,000 additional batteries used in HP and Compaq notebook PCs, after receiving reports of batteries that caused injuries and property damage when they overheated and exploded.

All of these new notebooks offer a wide range of processor options from both AMD and Intel.
