Market research firm DisplaySearch recently published results for global notebook shipments for Q1 2008. HP remained in first place for the seventh consecutive quarter, shipping nearly 2 million more units than second place Dell.
While attending HP's "Connecting Your World" media summit in Berlin, it became increasingly clear that HP has some big plans for consumer and business computing solutions in 2008. So just what does HP have to offer? How about luxury notebooks, innovative consumer designs, rugged business notebooks, and AMD processors? HP announced several new notebooks to its expanding Business line in Berlin today. Among the 10 new products are: the HP EliteBook, Compaq 6530 series, Compaq 6730 series, and 6830 series.
Today in Germany, Voodoo by HP released the new thin and light Envy 133, offering up a bit more competition to notebooks such as the Lenovo X300 and Apple Macbook Air. This new ultraportable notebook holds nothing back as it goes head to head with the competition, with a full range of features that almost every business user will be sure to love.
Not to be outdone by Apple, HP Today decided to throw their own little unveiling party in Berlin, Germany. HP took the opportunity to announce no less than seventeen new notebooks and declare their continued dominance in the mobile market space.
