The Fujitsu LifeBook N3500. is not only the first Intel Sonoma based laptop offering from Fujitsu, but also their first 15.4" screen laptop. This notebook will compete with recently released Dell Inspiron 6000 and Toshiba M45 15.4" screen Sonoma notebooks. But with new screen technology called "Color-Enhanced Crystal View", a built-in TV Tuner option, Express Card slot and fast new DDR2 SDRAM the N3500 is the most enticing new 15.4" screen laptop offering we've seen.
Not to be outdone by Dell, HP, Apple or Toshiba, Fujitsu will provide an entry into the desktop replacement/multimedia notebook market with a 17" screen notebook that's stacked with features. Including a Pentium 4 Mobile 3.2GHz processor, ATI Radeon 9700 with 128MB of RAM, 17" Crystal View Screen, 100GB Hard Drive, TV Tuner built-in and instant on TV/DVD/CD and typical suave Fujitsu styling this notebook should be hot. Prices will start at $1749 and we expect a U.S. release in the next month.
