The Register reports that Dell is experiencing supply issues with its Latitude E4300 ultraportable notebook.
Dell has introduced several new storage options for its XPS line of notebooks, including the M1330 and M1730.
It's been a big news day for Dell, with big announcements: the new Wasabi zink printer, a new Dell Mini, with a 10" screen, GPS, TV tuner and edge-to-edge keyboard and screen, and the new luxury line: Adamo. I persuaded Dell to let me snap a few pics of the Adamo (working, of course) and I have one thing to say: Macbooks, watch out.
Despite the fact that some of our forum members discovered the release 24 hours early on the Dell website, today Dell officially announced the availability of the new Dell Studio XPS line of notebooks. The first members of the new family are the Studio XPS 13 (1340) and Studio XPS 16 (1640). We even have a full review of the gorgeous Studio XPS 16!
Dell introduced its Inspiron 15 notebook today, featuring a 16:9 aspect ratio 15.6-inch display.
Acer plans to introduce an 11.6-inch notebook in 2009 to compete with the 11.6-inch notebook HP is supposed to introduce around the same time. Acer is planning to ship nine million 10-inch netbooks in 2009 compared to HP's 3.5 million and Dell's/Lenovo's 1.2 - 1.3 million units.
