According to reports from Taiwanese news site DigiTimes.com Apple is working with manufacturers to ready production for a 15.4" widescreen MacBook. Apple currently makes a high-end $1,999 MacBook Pro in a 15.4" size but this new laptop would cost much less at around $1,000.
With the introduction of the Nintendo Wii recently an interest in motion sensing as a human interface device with computers has been peaked. It turns out that notebooks such as the Lenovo ThinkPad and Apple MacBook Pro have a built-in accelerometer that serves to protect the hard drive, but can also be used for gaming somewhat like you do with the Wii.
Apple has released it's 802.11n update patch for the MacBook Core 2 Duo machines, and it does cost $1.99 as rumors had forecast.
