It was impossible to miss the Samsung booth located in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Easily one of the biggest booths at the show, their booth was done in the trademark blue of Samsung with a host of fancy displays, flickering overhead lighting and eye popping carpeting.
Because of the overwhelming size, there was plenty of room for a huge display of Samsung laser printers of all sizes from huge floor units clearly directed at large enterprise to the smallest laser printer I’ve ever seen (not available yet in the U.S.).
Samsung has typically focused on the SMB and Enterprise markets with their line of laser printers but at this year’s show it was clear that company has decided to start appealing to the home office as well.
And while Samsung made multiple product announcements in other product areas, they have yet to confirm the rumors about a new lineup of printers. We will continue to cover this story as we get word from the company post CES.
