Printer Tips: Multiple Functions
Printer Tip No. 10
Go All the Way with an All-in-One
We hit on the pros of having a standalone printer a few weeks ago, but this week, we’ll take a look at why an all-in-one (AIO) or a multifunction printer (MFP) could be the right choice.
Whether you are looking for a laser class device or an inkjet, you can find a multifunction option that’s right for your home or office. Depending on your needs, AIO machines combine the strengths of three to five different machines in one convenient unit. Entry level AIOs typically offer print, copy and scan functionality with higher-end models adding fax, photo and/or web capabilities.
But the biggest pro for purchasing an AIO is the money you will save. An entry level AIO inkjet can start as low as $50 while an entry level laser class model can be had for as low as $200. Total up the cost of what an entry level standalone printer, scanner, copier and fax machine and you’ll quickly see the savings.
So consider an AIO printer and save money and time by purchasing one device that serves multiple functions in your home, home office or business!
