The manufacturer?s suggested retail price of our review unit (currently the only configuration offered by HP, but that is likely to change at some point in the near future) is a whopping $1,899. It will be available in North America starting next week on November 15th.

We had a software issue interfere with our standard benchmarks (not the TouchSmart’s fault), so we?re in the process of rerunning them and will update the review later today. Suffice it to say, though, the TouchSmart 620 3D is a reasonably powerful all-in-one. The second generation Core i5 quad-core CPU plows through all but the most demanding computer tasks – unless you?re really pushing it, the CPU won?t be holding you back.

It would be nice to see HP bumping up the hard drive and graphics capabilities, however, as this desktop costs close to $2,000 and comes with a 5400RPM hard drive and an AMD Radeon 6670A (the A signifies that it was adapted from the desktop 6670 card for use in all-in-ones, as opposed to the mobile variants that are generally tossed in) graphics card.

The 6670A will easily play any HD content you?ll care to watch, including vivid, 1080p 3D Blu-ray movies. It?ll even do an admirable attempt at gaming, although you won?t be playing Skyrim or BF3 at maxed out quality settings. If you?re more of a casual gamer, though, the card will do all right.

The sound is excellent for an all-in-one machine; HP has once again brought the fruits of its Beats Audio partnership over to the desktop side. It?s true that the Beats Audio inclusion is something more of a branding and software EQ package, but it does mean that HP is concentrating more on the audio quality of its products – and that?s good for everyone involved.
