After a drought, AVADirect is now selling Clevo notebooks with the new, next-generation Intel HM77 chipset. Users speculated
that the Clevo notebooks went unavailable to prepare for the release of the next-gen notebooks.
AVADirect is now offering the 15.6-inch P151EM, the P150EM and the 17.3-inch P170EM. The notebooks are all based off of the HM77 chipset, Intel's next-generation processors, and the new NVIDIA 600M Series graphics processing units (GPUs). In addition to the latest hardware and architecture, new features such as a backlit keyboard are included with the P150EM and P170EM.
According to AVADirect, "more modern features" and ports will be included on the laptops, such as display port and digital optical outputs, eSATA, and an mSATA SSD interface for Intel Smart Cache Response support. The new NVIDIA GPUs will also continue to have Optimus technology, tech that helps on save battery life while the GPU is in use. NVIDIA GTX 670 and 675 graphics cards will be available in some select upcoming Clevo notebooks. AVADirect will be adding more customization options to the new models as they become available.
