According to our review on TabletPCReview, the new third-generation Apple iPad lives up to its expectations set by the previous two
installations! Apple definitely put much thought and attention into the beautiful 9.7-inch, 2048 x 1536 resolution Retina display.
"Trying to describe how great this screen looks is a challenge. The best I can come up with is to say that you could hang this device on the wall, put an image of the outdoors on it, and people could easily mistake it for a window." -Ed Hardy, TabletPCReview.com Editor
Also according to our review, aside from the display, the main selling points of the third-gen iPad include the fast (available) 4G LTE network, 1GB of memory, and the 5 mega pixel camera capable of taking 1080p video. We state that not only is the new iPad simple to use, but it has pretty much all of the features people are looking for in a tablet.
Ed also comments on the quality of entertainment features on the new iPad. "Video is just the start. Games look amazing on the Retina display. There are a growing number of them that have been designed for it or have been updated to support it."
