The new laptops announced at the 21012 International Consumer Electronics Show include the IdeaPad U Series, Y Series, S Series and Z Series; each of which provides impressive performance wrapped inside a colorful shell.

IdeaPad U310 and U410: Lenovo's Newset Ultrabooks
Lenovo is expanding its Ultrabook portfolio following the recently announced IdeaPad U300s, with the IdeaPad U310 and U410, two "ultra" laptops with attractive price points (starting at $699 available in May). Powered by the Intel Core processors with 64GB SSD drives for caching data, and versions with up to 500GB Hard Disc Drive (HDD) storage. Both the U310 and U410 feature fast Windows boot times and quick resume from sleep thanks to Lenovo's Windows 7 "Enhanced Experience" tuning. IdeaPad S200 and S206: Netbooks with Some Muscle
Lenovo introduced two new netbooks but the company is quick to call these "mini laptops" designed to fill slightly more serious computing needs between a netbook and a notebook. The IdeaPad S200 and S206 (starting at $349 and available in June) are thin and light 11-inch laptops that use low-power processors to help bring the price down. Both netbooks (or mini-laptops) are just 0.81 inch (20.7mm) thick and weigh 2.8 pounds (1.3kg). These "mini laptops" also include a high-quality exterior tactile finish and an Accutype keyboard with individual rounded keys.

The S200 comes with an Intel Atom dual core processor and up to 32GB SSD storage, while the S206 features an AMD dual core processor. Both laptops deliver more than four hours of battery life and can be online with Windows 7 in seconds thanks to the Lenovo Quick Start "instant on" function. Additional features include an integrated 0.3M HD Webcam and 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi. Select models also have integrated Bluetooth capability. Both the S200 and S206 are available in the following colors: Cotton-candy Pink, Crimson Red, Electric Blue, Graphite Grey and Pearl White.
